Storage banks and cascade filling

Filling from a storage bank raises two questions: what pressure the cylinder reaches, and how many full fills the bank gives before it runs too low. The calculator handles one bank cylinder or many, used one after the other as a cascade or all opened together, and shows the bank pressures after every fill.

At high pressure gas is harder to compress than the ideal-gas rule says, so a 300 bar bank holds less gas than its pressure suggests and gives fewer fills than simple arithmetic promises. The calculator uses real-gas properties for air, Nitrox, Trimix, oxygen and helium and shows the ideal-gas count beside it..
